Control: retitle -1 missing snmp.conf triggers flood of error messages
Control: severity -1 serious
I wanted to further investigate, if this was a libsane problem or not so
I installed another libsnmp30 client and for that I chose the "snmp"
package.
And suddenly all the errors were gone.
As soon as /etc/snmp/snmp.conf was available, all errors were gone.
It seems like either libsnmp3 should gracefully deal with
/etc/snmp/snmp.conf being missing or ensure that /etc/snmp/snmp.conf is
always installed (e.g. by moving it into the libsnmp-base package).
Regards,
Michael
