This is most surely a problem with your wifi driver, not with
nettools. Also, more information is needed.

- Are you having this problem in Debian or in Ubuntu. If it is the
latter, please close this bug and open one in
https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bugs
- If it's a Debian machine, please provide the output of dmesg, lsmod,
lspci (if it is a pci card) or lsusb (if it's an usb one). The output
of "ip a" or "ifconfig -a" would help too.
