This complaint -- or bug if one persists -- is easily
attended to by using the switch '-W'. Due to legacy
field width of 22, it is not a priory easy to make
the corresponding effect the default bahaviour,
thus replacing the legacy output format. To repeat,
the original complaint vanishes with the call

   netstat -Wt
