Package: net-tools
Version: 1.60-23
Severity: normal
the -c option of slattach is documented to runa command after slip is set up, but i can't
make it do so. for example:
strace slattach -s 38400 -p slip -v -L -c /sbin/echo /dev/pts/7
shows that slattach sets up the device, prints the message, but doesn't
fork at any time.
so the -c options seems to be accepted, but ignored.
