Hi net-tools team,
I believe that route, when called without -n option, should consider
both destination and netmask when determining whether a route may be
the default route, not just destination 0.0.0.0. Some tunneling
software adds two /1 routes , to supersede default route without
replacing it, such as
0.0.0.0/128.0.0.0
128.0.0.0/128.0.0.0
First of those routes will be annotated as "default" while it clearly
isn't. In contrast, ip route from iproute2 package gets this right.
Kindly Yours,
L.Schmidt
