Package: net-tools
Version: 1.60+git20161116.90da8a0-1
Severity: minor

Dear Maintainer,

linux net-tools has been abandonned by upstream, and its structure is subtly
incompatible with the linux network stack (since kernel 2.4)

probably the documentation should point users to the iproute2 tools ss(8) and
ip(8) in the see-also section of the mang pages if not more prominantly.
