Hi Elliot,

thanks for your interest in the iptables package.

The feature you are talking about is extremely specific and don't
apply to general use of iptables.
Also, the iptables package is now in some kind of maintenance mode to
help people migrating from iptables to nftables in upcoming years.
This means that I wont fix this bug.

Perhaps you could make an 'iptables-osf' package to handle all the
logic you need for the osf module.

May you have any complaint about my point of view, feel free to reopen this bug.
