[pkg-ntp-maintainers] minpoll in ntp.conf

Dear Srs:

I would like to know if you have been reported about any bug regarding
the ntp daemon.
I am trying to query a local ntp server with a minpoll of 16 seconds and
a maxpoll of also 16 seconds. I haved added the following line to
ntp.conf:

server 192.168.1.5 minpoll 4 maxpoll 4

However, the daemon does not issue the query until 64 s after the date
is modified. The daemons seems to be ignoring the minpoll and maxpoll
parameters.

Could you bring me some help?
