It's hard to tell which one will work.  It seems to me alot of kernels
have such problem on some hardware.  You could for instance try the
kernels from stable (2.6.18) and testing (2.6.22).  I don't know if they
support your hardware.  Maybe you can even try the one from oldstable
(2.6.8).

I see no reason why the amount of servers you configured such have any
effect on this.

It could be that if you only have 1 server, or prefer a server, that it
might try to sync to that one.  But with this drift it won't be able
to keep up and you'll end with problems anyway.

Well, you could reassign this bug to linux-2.6 package.  But they will
probably need alot more info if you would like to get this solved.
