I think the file /etc/network/if-up.d/ntpdate should be removed
at all. I have many interfaces rising up and fallen down
frequently. I don't need to run ntpdate every time. This is bad
idea to bind this script to any interface. In many cases there
is local network only without internet access. How and when to
sync clock every user may decide himself.
