Hi,

I experience the same problem on several lenny installations. For
some reason my WPA-PSK wlan takes a bit too long to come up. The
ntpd always gives up before the network is available. The syslog
shows

Apr  1 23:16:54 gromit ntpd[3352]: ntpd 4.2.4p4 at 1.1520-o Sun Nov 22 17:34:54 UTC 2009 (1)

And after that the wlan comes up:

Apr  1 23:16:56 gromit kernel: [   22.594404] wlan0: Initial auth_alg=0
Apr  1 23:16:56 gromit kernel: [   22.594404] wlan0: authenticate with AP 00:24:01:21:02:e6

Apr 1 23:17:05 gromit dhclient: bound to 192.168.0.101 -- renewal in 281137 seconds.

Later ntpd seems to notice the new interface

Apr  1 23:21:55 gromit ntpd[3353]: Listening on interface #4 wlan0, fe80::218:deff:fe7b:3ae9#123 Enabled
Apr  1 23:21:55 gromit ntpd[3353]: Listening on interface #5 wlan0, 192.168.0.101#123 Enabled

however I still get

gromit ~ 9> date; ntpq -p
Thu Apr  1 23:28:51 CEST 2010
No association ID's returned
