Package: ntpdate
Version: 1:4.2.4p4+dfsg-8lenny3
Followup-For: Bug #606349

The sed script setting NTPSERVERS variable also unable to handle
lines like this:
server -4 ntp.example.com
server -6 ntp.example.com

So /usr/sbin/ntpdate complains:
Apr 20 17:07:29 myhost ntpdate[24548]: can't find host -4
