Dear ntpdate maintainer,
I encounter a strange bug that I can't explain.
I have at disposal several ntp servers. Those servers are Cisco switches,
running NTP servers.
Some of them will respond perfectly (Cisco 7600 products) and some others
(other models of Cisco switches) will quasi systematically result in a time
setting failure.
My configuration:
Hardware is an x86 low end embedded PC.
ntpdate version: ntpdate_4.2.6.p2+dfsg-1+b1_i386.deb
ntpdate trace when things go well, on a cisco 7600 device:

The difference I see in the traces is the "reference time" line. By the
way, those problematic servers are used without any issue by other
(windows) equipments, according to their maintainers. Any idea of what
might be causing that?
Best regards,
Pierre
