Eric, ...

I would like for approx to do like partimage or cvs, and ask the user where
its cache directory has to be using debconf questions.

Also, i wonder if there is a problem or a why to share the /var/cache/apt
archive, since i understand that using approx on a given machine will cause
the packages to be stored duplicated on it, which is not nice. Maybe the
README.Debian could recomend a way to tell apt not to store the packages in
its apt cache ?

And finally a wishlist request i had, it would be nice if approx could handle
easily adding of local overrides to a given repository. Let's say i am testing
debian-installer using the netboot method, and need to test one specific
.udeb, which is taken from the net. I point d-i to the approx repo, which will
get all of my closest debian archive, but will add packages in a local
repository in addition or instead of packages in the debian archive.

Friendly,
