I did the commit above some days ago.  The package builds fine but some
tests fail due to the tolerance that is too tight.  I already reported
this in the Octave-Forge mailing list.  Sébastien and Thomas: if you do
not see this as a real problem, please upload version 2.3.53-1 to
experimental.
