Yes, I restricted the access to the members as a anti-spam measure.

Approval requests have cumulated because for some mysterious reason I was
not receiving notifications about the messages waiting for admin decision.
I apologize for this and will investigate the source of the problem.

At any rate, there was a backlog of messages that I was not aware and
they have all been approved.

The problem with the Mailman configuration is that there is no way to
accept generic mails from the BTS.  We can only allow messages based on
the "From:" header.
