[Pkg-octave-devel] Mailing list vs. real person name in changelog

People are complaining that we use a mailing list instead a real person
name in the debian/changelog trailer lines. After this bug report has
been filed:

    http://bugs.debian.org/340428

I moved the discussion to debian-devel and it got heated:

    http://lists.debian.org/debian-devel/2005/11/msg01378.html

Since no consensus was found, I asked at debian-policy:

    http://lists.debian.org/debian-policy/2005/11/msg00066.html

but got no response.

This looks like a minor issue, but it is bothering me. I do not really
care doing one way or the other, provided that it is what the majority
prefer.

Please tell me how do you feel about this issue. If you guys prefer
using real person names in debian/changelog, I will make the necessary
changes in the DOG Guidelines.
