We are getting pretty close now. If you look at:
http://xrl.us/h58d
you will see that rmpi on hppa is the only thing preventing the hdf5/lam
transition (which will bring octave 2.1.17 into testing).
I hope that Dirk will soon act on Steven Langasek's request for a
sourceful upload of r-base (http://bugs.debian.org/333462).
[Dirk: sorry for the harassment :-), but I really, really wish this
hdf5/octave mess sorted out.]
