[Pkg-octave-devel] dpatch and executable files

I just created a patch for the 2.9transition branch which adds the
file admin/octlink.sh in order to allow debian/rules to build a
octave-forge package against 2.9.4 from the 2006.01.28 release. When
dpatch patches the source tree the file it creates isn't executable.
How do I edit the patch to ensure that this file is executable? My
current fix is to chmod 0755 admin/octlink.sh after patch-stamp is
called in the configure-stamp rule. Is this the only solution to the
this problem?
