I m not sure this is possible.  Please ask at
debian-mentors at lists.debian.org (and Cc: here).

Although not completely desirable, this is not a big problem.  After all,
we always rename tarballs by adding ".orig.".

At any rate, I got confused.  I thought that we would generate
octave2.1-forge from the 2006.03.17 tarball and octave2.9-forge from the
2006.07.10 tarball.  These are already two different tarballs.  Am I
missing something?
