If you have not done it yet, install an etch chroot on your system and get
the glpk 4.15 package from the Debian Scientific Computing group
(pkg-scicomp @ Alioth).  Get also the latest octave2.9 from SVN.  Try to
build both packages under etch (this will not be too hard, I hope).
