I just verified it with the miscellaneous package, but I think it's not
specific to any package. By purging, I mean purging with dpkg, but I
just see it happens with "dpkg remove", too.

The error line is
octave3.0: invalid option -- n

I just see that the prerm script still has only one dash before "norc"
...

Bah, I'm an idiot, the fix in octave-pkg-dev hasn't been uploaded yet. I
won't have access to me key before this evening[1], so if you want to go
ahead with that, that's fine with me.

[1] I wanted to take it with me today, but left in a hurry.
