Package: octave-miscellaneous
Version: 1.0.6-2
Severity: normal
When I run Octave as an Emacs inferior process (with M-x run-octave), any call to waitbar() will make Octave segfault:
octave> waitbar(0)
panic: Segmentation fault -- stopping myself...
attempting to save variables to `octave-core'...
save to `octave-core' complete
Process Inferior Octave erreur de segmentation
I use emacs22-gtk (version 22.2+2-2), with octave3.0-emacsen (version 1:3.0.1-3). The crash happens whether I run Emacs in a terminal or under X-Windows. I have made no customization to octave3.0-emacsen settings.
Note that the segfault doesn't occur if Octave is directly run within a standard terminal.
