I recently started using org-mode for my personal TODO lists and found it
great. Here is a short tutorial for what we need for octave-forge-pkgs/TODO
file:

* Use TAB to show/hide the body of an entry
* Use Meta-RET for adding a new item (items are prefixed by either "*" of "-")
* Use Meta-Shift-Up/Meta-Shift-Down to move items up/down
* Use Shitf-Right on an entry to cycle through the TODO keywords

That should be all you need for now. The org-mode is extremely powerful and
can many more things than the ones listed above.
