Hi all,
I'm the upstream author of octave-optiminterp. I found some typos on the
page http://packages.debian.org/lenny/octave-optiminterp describing the
optiminterp package.
I guess that this text will also appear as a description of the package.
"scarse" should be "sparse" (or "scarce") and "date" should be "data".
Better yet, for the package version 0.2.7, I would suggest the following:
This package is an optimal interpolation package for Octave, a numerical
computation software. This package provides functions to do 1, 2, 3 and
4 dimensional optimal interpolations of arbitrarily distributed data points.
Since version 0.3.0, the package can also handle now n-dimensional
interpolation. The description could then be:
This package is an optimal interpolation package for Octave, a numerical
computation software. This package provides functions to do
n-dimensional optimal interpolations of arbitrarily distributed data points.
Can this be updated?
I would like to thank you guys for your fine work to package this software!
Best regards
Alexander
