tsa depends on nan, so I guess it's for that reason. I think David
mentioned at some point some packages overriding Octave's default
functions and he didn't want to have that 'on' by default.

However, quite some packages out of main/ also don't autoload. I'm a
lazy guy, so I'm not too happy about that, actually.
