This has been already reported as Bug#490588.  Reassigning and merging the
reports, accordingly.

Note that this bug regards octave-forge instead of Octave but, yes, Cc:ing
bug reports that are actually upstream is a good idea.  Do not forget to add
the appropriate "Tags: upstream" pseudo-header to the bug report.
