Only because the maintainers of the mercurial and the evolution packages got
confused, we should not do the same mistake :-)

The gimp package (arch-dep) depends on gimp-data (arch-indep).
"octave3.X-data" is perhaps a good choice for us.  What do you think?

Anyway, the files in the following directory will go into the new package, I
think:

/usr/share/applications
/usr/share/man/man1
/usr/share/menu
/usr/share/octave/3.0.1/imagelib
/usr/share/octave/3.0.1/m
