[Pkg-octave-devel] New version of Qhull fixes serious error

Hi all,

There's a new release of Qhull 2010.1 which fixes a serious bug in qh_gethash.   It includes a preliminary C++ interface and improved memory deallocation for the Qhull library.

The -fno-strict-aliasing problem appears to be fixed in gcc 4.4.  Please let me know if it isn't (i.e., qset seg faults if it is not compiled with -fno-strict-aliasing).

Rafael Laboissiere maintained libqhull5 until last summer.  I hope someone can take over his good work.
