[Pkg-octave-devel] Removal of octave-ann

Hi, 

as announced at

I intend to remove octave-ann from Debian. 

There has been no update to the code since the above bug report from
Fedora. The only change has been Xavier removing himself from the
Maintainer field (rev 7497), so the package is now officially without
upstream maintainer. The last code change was in the middle of 2009.

I should note that there is exactly one thing that will make change me
my mind: someone taking up upstream development and at least _trying_ to
get the SWIG-related crashes fixed.
