You can try to build some octave-forge package with octave and
octave-pkg-dev from experimental. 
Also, we already switched our website to a page in the Debian wiki, so
if you think something should be added, go ahead:

Current state:
1) to be done:		3.4 into unstable: 
2) done: 		wiki website
3) nothing to do: 	VCS
4) undecided: 		3.6
5) nothing to do:	keep testing consistent

Apart from uploading 3.4 into unstable, we cannot do much. The HDF5
transition needs to be finished first before we can start building
octave-forge packages against 3.4.
