Hm. Apparently it does not work from inside the inferior Octave process
of Emacs. If I run it from outside of Emacs I do not see problems.
Also, inside Emacs I only see problems when using inferior octave mode:
if I call Octave from inside a shell buffer I see no problems.
Well, in fact, I still see one: if you resize the window, the plot is
not resized.
So there are two bugs: from Emacs' inferior octave mode it exhibits the
problems I described initially. And outside resizing is not automatic.
