I just pushed a small improvement for debian/check.m (commit cdd3d255),
in which the killing of the server process is ensured. I think that think
that this is very important for the autobuilders, but I am curious about
the behavior within a cowbuilder.  I apologize in advance for my
ignorance, but do the processes launched during the package build
persist?  I mean, when octave-parallel is built in cowbuilder, does a
octave process persist after the building is completed?
