You probably notice that I committed the pristine-tar 2.4.0 to the Git 
repository for octave-control.  Several tests fail, some with small 
errors and tolerance too tight and some others with large errors. 
These last ones are annoying and I am reluctant to do a RFU for this 
version.  I do not have time either to investigate the issues.
