[Pkg-octave-devel] Removing octave-audio

Hi,

I'd like to propose removal of the octave-audio package. Some reasons:

• There has not been a new upstream release since 2009.

• It has been moved to the list of unmaintained packages on the Octave
  Forge site.

• Most of its functions have been superseded by better-supported Matlab
  compatible functions in Octave 4.0. For example, aurecord fails with

    error: aurecord: can not open device

  when it tries to open /dev/dsp.

Any objections to filing a RM bug?
