I think you missed either updating or pushing the pristine-tar branch,
the branch only contains version 0.2.0.

If I download the orig.tar.gz with uscan I can build from git, but I get
the same texinfo build errors as Rafael. It looks like some definitions
in octave-interval's manual.texinfo are conflicting with Texinfo version
6 in testing/unstable.
