Sorry, I don't know off the top of my head which mails would be
duplicated to the list versus the package activity feed.

I do know that I get buildd notifications via tracker.d.o, which do not
appear to be sent to pkg-octave-devel at .

You can filter your subscription to only get build-related mails or
derivatives-related mails, for example.
