It's assuring comment for us, thanks.

The custom PPC32 machine is near a vanilla configuration besides
a little number of device driver mods.  From the point of kernel
authodoxity, it's just another powerpc among arch/powerpc/.

I'm aware of stock 2.6.28 Linux kernel source does not reflect the
current state of the art of IB technology.  Unless any real
showstoppers appear, however, the source code sync will take 
such a priority as performancing tuning in our project.
