[Pkg-ofed-devel] Infiniband status in Debian

Hello,

We ran into difficulties while trying to setup Infiniband on our test
hardware. We spent considerable amount of time with OFED packages,
confusion over 'official' RPM packaging, Infiniband drivers in the
mainline kernel and OFED situation in Debian.

I am a long time Debian user and I would definitely prefer using Debian.
But from what I understand is that Debian currently contains old Infiniband
utilities and drivers. And I am still not sure about status of 3.x kernel
Infiniband support and patch policy.

I was very happy to find a message in the mail list archive that latest
OFED packages for Debian are in development for possible inclusion into
Debian Wheezy.

I would like to ask if there are any alpha/beta packages to test.
