Sure thing -- this is very much meant for Debian's core repositories, and we
already have munge there thanks to Gennaro's work (which I 'sponsor' as the
Debian developer required to upload).  We had a few discussions on the
debian-science list (which you may want to join, low volume and a decent
signal/noise ratio).

The package is called 'slurm-llnl' given that slurm already existed, the
packages are called
	libpmi0_1.2.7-20070606.local.0_i386.deb
	libpmi0-dev_1.2.7-20070606.local.0_i386.deb
	libslurm11_1.2.7-20070606.local.0_i386.deb
	libslurm11-dev_1.2.7-20070606.local.0_i386.deb
	slurm-llnl_1.2.7-20070606.local.0_i386.deb
	slurm-llnl-basic-plugins_1.2.7-20070606.local.0_i386.deb
	slurm-llnl-basic-plugins-dev_1.2.7-20070606.local.0_i386.deb
	slurm-llnl-doc_1.2.7-20070606.local.0_all.deb
(and this is from local builds I did while Gennaro and I are doing some QA on
them).

Gennaro seems to be doing just fine, so we don't yet have a maintainer group
for slurm-llnl.  But you could of course test and review his packages.
Gennaro, could you send Robert your URL with the current sources?

However, we just started one for the more ambitious OpenMPI package (which
was in a sorry state in Debian).  This is coming along nicely, but we would
love to have more help from people that are really familiar with MPI at the
5Ccode level.  So to Robert and anybody else who is interested: come join the
Alioth project pkg-openmpi if you want to help, or contact us off-line (see
CC)
