That was fast :)

I just added Robert as a senior developer. I am not sure if admin needs to be
the default for everybody. If anybody thinks they don't really need admin,
let me know. Or if you think I'm nuts let me know too and we make everybody
an admin.

So a warm welcome to Robert.

Re all the earlier messages from today: I was also swamped. I got, after ten
months of lobbying at Argonne, the pgapack (which I use for some work with
lam, and will convert to openmpi if possible) package re-released so that it
can go into main. I'll need to work on that to review the accumulated Debian
patches with the original author. After that it's back to OpenMPI. As to
releasing, I think we should definitely think about either unstable or
experimental to get 'something' out there for people to test, and to have
something to show to the other MPI maintainers (who we should convince to
join here too). So my suggestion would be to try to get it lintian clean,
and then release to unstable. Other views?

Dirk

Hell, there are no rules here - we're trying to accomplish something.
