D'oh, yes - sorry, I sent the mail in a hurry. I will resend it to the
list for reference.

Mmh, can anyone tell me what that error means? My MX hosts are both
valid:

$ dig +short MX subnetz.org
100 hilly.subnetz.org.
40 holly.dnsalias.net.

Google gave me lots of complaints (many about comcast), but no
solution :-/. I probably should reverse my priorities, since
hilly.subnetz.org has a fixed IP.

You are more than welcome!

You can find my attempt here: <http://www.subnetz.org/~til/mpich2/>

But don't expect anything lintian clean ;). They are actually made from
scratch, so quite different from where Zach left off. I wanted to build
mpich2 three times, with the three different process managers mpd, smpd
and gforker, and found a clean slate approach easier.

Zach's packages are available from
<http://torvalds.cs.mtsu.edu/~zach/debian/current/>.

Pick the one the suits you best, or create your own version.

How would you (and everybody else) feel about using the pkg-openmpi
project for mpich2 as well? The name wouldn't be quite right anymore,
but close cooperation on packaging the two major MPI implementations
would be a good idea IMO.

Cheers, Til
