[Pkg-openmpi-maintainers] Help needed with bug #452047

It seems like the links that are shared between the different packages
are correctly update, but (slave) links that are not shared are not
removed. Also, the slave links in libopenmpi-dev.postinst are not
created in /etc/alternatives/ as it seems. Maybe I've a general problem
in understanding update-alternatives or not seeing the obvious here...
Any help appreciated!
