I tested the last snapshot (1.2.7a0r18639 of June 10, 2008). All the patches 
are included and we can build without patching. Lintian does not complain, so 
everything's great from our side, all issues sorted out, so ...

... thumbs up for the 1.2.7 release from the Debian people! ;)
