The package is uploaded already but needs approval from our ftp-masters,
as it creates a new binary package (openmpi-checkpoint). I expect it to
be reviewed in the next days. The version in our SVN repository is the
version I uploaded, so you can use this if you want to test it right
away.

As usual, we always welcome feedback. If you use this feature, don't
hesitate to let us know if it works. Or if it does not, of course. ;)
