I have not looked into this yet. As I understand it, the situation as is
works (since it's statically linked) though it is unfortunate. I suggest
to file a bug against openmpi and vite. (You can do this, or I, as you
prefer.) This helps us not forgetting this issue. I'll post an analysis
and possible solutions there, once I took the time to look into it.
