OpenMPI 1.5 was specifically requested by one of the ARM server
vendors either last UDS or the one before - I'm hoping that we can get
them to test this before we make a decision as to whether we switch.

The main driver was ARM support - however we have OpenMPI 1.4 working
on ARM with the patches that have now landed in 1.5 thanks to Jani
Monoses.

I think that you are probably right; 1.5 is not sitting that
comfortably with me at the moment despite the amount of
rebuild/testing we are looking todo.

I guess we do have the option of having a openmpi1.5 package - but not
transitioning the archive limits its use.
