Hello,

I am looking for Debian mentor to review and sponsor a Debian package for the Chapel compiler (chapel.cray.com): https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=833193

Sean Whitton was our previous mentor. We made enormous progress under his guidance, but he has unfortunately moved on and is no longer a Debian mentor. We believe that this package is close to being ready, and are looking for someone to help us bring it to completion.

Of the available packaging teams, we thought OpenMPI might have the most overlap with Chapel in the packaging sense, due to similar goals w.r.t. parallelism and portability.
