Upstream (xmlrpc-c) changed its ABI, so Debian Maintainer of libxmlrpc choosed
to bump SONAME :
http://packages.qa.debian.org/x/xmlrpc-c/news/20110220T005009Z.html
* Split out library packages to deal with the SONAME changes.
- libxmlrpc-core-c3: C libraries (unchanged SONAME)
- libxmlrpc-c++4 (changed SONAME)
I think we can handle that by using :
Build-Depends: libxmlrpc-c++4-dev | libxmlrpc-c3-dev
Could you try that ?
