I have checked: OpenAL use within the plugin directory is commented out
in SVN, and currently only one demonstration example (osgmovie) uses
it. Given that any interested users can compile that example from the
source we are packaging for themselves, I'd vote for not making OpenAL
an additional build dependency for OSG.

OT soname is bumped from 11 (2.8.3) to 12 (2.9.9), so we must also do
the same, by refreshing our patches for
{src/OpenThreads,.}/CMakeLists.txt.
